Refund Policy

Last updated: 06/07/2026

This Refund Policy establishes the conditions for refund requests on subscriptions and services for all Abkus applications (including Abkus SBM, Abkus AI, Abkus Academic, Abkus Travel, and related products).

1. General Rule

By default, amounts charged for recurring subscriptions are non-refundable after the billing period has begun (monthly or annual), except as expressly provided in this policy or required by applicable law.

2. Cancellation Window

Subscribers may cancel their subscription and request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the initial subscription date. This window is provided as a goodwill period to allow customers to evaluate the service.

Brazilian residents additionally hold statutory withdrawal rights under Article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Defense Code (CDC), which is satisfied by this 7-day window.

3. Eligible Refund Cases

Beyond the cancellation window, refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate charges for the same subscription period due to a technical error by the system or payment processor;
  • Incorrect amounts charged due to verified configuration or processing errors on our platform;
  • Material billing errors reported immediately upon discovery.

4. Non-Eligible Cases

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Forgetting or failing to cancel before a recurring renewal date;
  • Non-use or low usage of the applications during the contracted period;
  • Change of business priorities, loss of interest, or voluntary early cancellation by the subscriber.

5. Process

To initiate a refund request, send an email to support@abkus.com with your account email, the application name, the transaction identifier provided by the payment processor, and the reason for the refund request.

Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your card issuer and applicable banking rules.
